Clearly James Moody is both a legend and a fabulous current force in jazz. From Moody’s Mood for Love, which was released over 60 years ago, to his current stints with the Count Basie Orchestra and other performances, Moody has been important and relevant longer than any living jazz performer in the world. His amazing talent is equaled only by his lovely demeanor and infectious smile. He is a real treasure and The Jazz Cruise is thrilled to be able to present him and his quartet on The Jazz Cruise 2011.
