Canadian born saxophonist Grant Stewart moved to New York at an early age and has enjoyed a spectacular career ever since performing in all of the Big Apple’s top spots. Stewart has performed all over North America and Europe, as well as in Japan, Brazil, and Taiwan was one of the first jazz artists to perform at the historical Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia. Grant was a featured artist at the Guggenheim Museums’ Jazz series with his trio including drum legend Jimmy Cobb. In August 2008, Stewart was voted a “rising star on the tenor” in the Downbeat Critic’s Poll.
