Baritone saxophonist Gary Smulyan is critically acclaimed as one of the major baritone saxophone voices in jazz today. From his home in Long Island, Gary started his career landing his first big break as a member of Woody Herman’s Young Thundering Herd. Gary was named the winner of the 2004 Jazz Journalists' Award for William Paterson University and is a clinician and endorser for Vandoren Woodwind Products and Keilworth Saxophones.
